A preliminary application has been filed seeking the approval of a residential project at 323 Lester Avenue in Alameda County, Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of a multi-unit residential development. The site currently houses a duplex.
Dinar & Associates is the project applicant and the architecture firm responsible for the design concepts.
The application consists of two conceptual proposals. The first option proposes to add ten units to the existing duplex and the second option proposes to demolish the duplex and develop fourteen new units with onsite parking.
The property site is a parcel spanning an area of 8,411 square feet. The existing duplex has a total built-up area of 2,445 square feet. The proposed designs will yield a total residential area of approximately 8,000 square feet to include the residential units, onsite parking, and residential amenities.
The project is under review and can progress once Oakland Planning Commission has reviewed both proposed options. An estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
