A new mixed-use project has been proposed at 980-1030 O’Brien Drive in Menlo Park. The project proposal includes the development of a new three-story building offering spaces for research and development uses along with commercial spaces. Plans call for the demolition of two single-story commercial buildings.
R & M Properties is the project applicant.
The project will bring a new life science building to the site. The project site includes four lots housing two commercial buildings. Unused development potential from the remaining buildings will be incorporated into the new building. The proposed gross floor area of the project site is approximately 85,886 square feet of R&D and office space. Commercial space spanning an area of 5,822 square feet will also be developed on the site.
The project application has been submitted and is pending approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
