A preliminary application has been filed seeking the approval of a mixed-use building at 2712 Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley. The project proposal includes the construction of a five-story mixed-use building. Plans call for the demolition of two commercial buildings on the site.

Trachtenberg Architects is responsible for the design concepts.

The project will bring 35 residential units into a five-story building. Commercial space will also be designed in the building.

The application has been submitted and awaits a review. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet. No renderings have been revealed yet.

    Why not mention what’s happening/happened to the tenants? What’s going to happen to the Pacific Center for Human Growth? They’re one of the oldest LGBTQ+ orgs in the United States. If YIMBY’s gloss over displacement, then it’s going to hinder housing development. People are not going to trust anything #YIMBY.
