Despite objections from contraction unions, an application to introduce a new residential project continues to progress for a site located at 3000 Shattuck Avenue in South Berkeley, Alameda County. The project proposal includes the construction of a new 10-story development offering space for residential and commercial uses. The project site currently houses Berkeley Gas and Smog gas station. NX Ventures is the project applicant and property owner. Trachtenberg Architects is responsible for the designs. InsideOut is responsible for landscape architecture.

Increased Plans Revealed for 1001 Oak Hill Road, Lafayette

New renderings have been revealed ahead of the design review meeting for 1001-1009 Oak Hill Road in Lafayette, Contra Costa County. The updated project will bring a seven-story residential project, with more than three dozen additional units compared to the previous iteration, to the center of the suburban city just one block away from a BART Station. Jeff Stone, a local developer and owner of Diamond Construction, is listed as the property owner.

Design Review Meeting for 1998 Shattuck Avenue, Downtown Berkeley

Berkeley‘s Design Review Committee is scheduled to review plans this Thursday for the potential tallest structure to rise in the city. The project is expected to bring nearly six hundred units by merging four lots, including the corner McDonald’s, at 1950-1998 Shattuck Avenue in Downtown Berkeley, Alameda County. NX Ventures and Rhoades Planning Group are jointly responsible for the application.
