Meeting Today to Review Extension Request for 2015 Bridgeway in Sausalito

A hearing is to be conducted later today by the Sausalito Zoning Administrator’s office to review the request for an extension on the permits for a development at 2015 Bridgeway, on Sausalito’s main commercial corridor. The project plans to convert an existing three-story office building into a multi-unit residential building. The process requires a full interior remodel and some external refinishing. After experiencing some delays, the property owner has appealed to the city for an extension of what may still be a viable and beneficial project.

Meeting Tonight For Affordable Housing at 555 Northgate Drive, San Rafael

The San Rafael Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans tonight for a seven-story affordable housing complex at 555 Northgate Drive across from the Northgate Shopping Center in San Rafael, Marin County. The development will produce nearly two hundred units on the two-acre property. Affordable Housing Preservation Investors and AMG Land Development are jointly responsible for the development.

Preliminary permits have been filed for a 24-story mixed-use tower at 924 3rd Street in Downtown San Rafael, Marin County. The application is now the tallest proposal in the county, looking to add several hundred apartments and retail in the heart of the city. Berkeley-based Goldstone Management is responsible for the development as the property owner.

Crews are currently making progress on the foundation of the 210-unit development, dubbed Modera San Rafael. City Council Reapproved One Hamilton Drive, Mill Valley

The project will replace a surface parking lot across from Hauke Park, a fire station, and a police department with 45 apartments, deed-restricted for low-income families. The Crews are expecting the installation of modular building sections to last until mid-February on the development that will eventually contain 42 apartments.
