New Funding Secured for Point Reyes Affordable Housing

Late last month, the Marin County Board of Supervisors voted to approve almost $9.5 million in funding for the refurbishment of 100 Commodore Webster Drive, the old Point Reyes Coast Guard Station, into 54 affordable housing units. The presentation brought by the Marin County Community Development Agency was supported by a number of speakers, including representatives of Eden Housing and CLAM, the developers for the project.

Meeting Today for Reduced Plans at 825 Drake Avenue, Marin City

The Marin County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to review plans today and approve reduced plans for 825 Drake Avenue in Marin City. The project was approved with 74 units in 2020 but has remained on hold ever since. This latest proposal now seeks to construct 42 units at Drake Avenue, while secondary plans are being championed to build the remaining 32 units in unincorporated Mill Valley. The Pacific Companies is responsible for the application.

Community Event Tomorrow For Auburn Grove Townhomes, San Rafael

The County of Marin has scheduled a community open house to review plans for the Auburn Grove townhouse development in unincorporated San Rafael. The event will be hosted by the developer, City Ventures, and provide the public with an opportunity to discuss the plans with the project team. The event will be held in person tomorrow evening at the Marin County Health and Wellness Center.
