Updated plans have been reviewed by the Belvedere Planning Commission for a 42-unit residential complex along Mallard Pointe in the small Marin County island city. After a seven-hour meeting, the Planning Commission approved a motion to continue the project to the Design Review Commission. Thompson Dorfman is overseeing the development.
The State of California has certified the environmental study for Oak Hill Apartments, an affordable housing proposal in San Quentin, Marin County. The decision gives the green light to pursue construction, avoiding the need for local approval from the notoriously anti-housing county staff. Eden Housing and Education Housing Partners are joint developers.
The project application has been filed for a new affordable housing infill at One Hamilton Drive in Mill Valley, Marin County. The plans most recently were subject to a study session with the city’s Planning Commission. The City of Mill Valley is the property owner, and EAH Housing is the project developer and future housing manager.
A notice of exemption has been released for the residential project at 575 East Blithedale Avenue on Kite Hill in Mill Valley, Marin County. The exemption paves the way for the plans to move through the California Environmental Quality Act, bringing plans to create 25 homes on 1.2 acres closer to construction after nearly two decades of trying. Phil Richardson, the project sponsor, created the first draft in 2004.
The Draft Environmental Impact Report is under review that would increase the housing stock of the unincorporated community of San Quentin fivefold. Education Housing Partners and Eden Housing have proposed Oak Hill Apartments, an entirely affordable complex with 250 new apartments across two structures on the hilly 8.3-acre property. The proposal, located around 101 Sir Francis Drive Boulevard, is the largest affordable project in Marin County in roughly 50 years.
