Sales have officially started for 88 at The Park, the residential development at 88 Arkansas Street in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood. The project offers 127 residences with some affordable housing across from Jackson Park. First City Development is responsible for the project, with interiors by Solomon Cordwell Buenz.
The building aims to achieve LEED Gold certification. The structure includes a solar pre-heating water system, energy-efficient lighting, efficient plumbing, a car share program, and an EV Charging station for residents in the garage.
The 59-foot tall structure yields 167,350 square feet from the 0.7-acre site, with 108,920 square feet for residential use and 2,960 square feet of retail. Parking is included for 92 cars and 108 bicycles. Cyclists will find a fix-it station to service bikes, while pet owners will be welcome to the dog-washing station for cleaning. The building includes 127 residences ranging in size from 372 to 1,167 square feet. Unit sizes will vary with studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms.
BAR Architects is the project architect, with interiors by Solomon Cordwell Buenz. Market-rate homes will feature hardwood floors, Bertazzoni kitchen appliances, and CAT 6 fiber optic cabling. There will be 25 below-market-rate units available in the unit, featuring GE appliances. The lobby will be staffed with a front desk attendant throughout the day, with an area connected to the lobby that can be used as another working space.
Residential amenities will include a landscaped interior courtyard and a landscaped roof deck. The open-air amenity space will feature panoramic views of the city skyline. Residents will find access to gas barbeque grills for outdoor dining, fire pits, lounging space, and a recreational area for games and entertainment.
The building is located at the corner of 17th and Arkansas Street. Jackson Park, located directly across from the building, offers a variety of public amenities. For the athletic neighbors, there are two baseball diamonds, a full basketball court, and a tennis court. Other communal space includes a picnic area, playground, and a clubhouse that hosts afterschool programs and private events by reservation.
The building is open for tours, with the sales office open at 73 Arkansas daily. Five model homes are on view with design by Bo Concept. For more information about the project and how to schedule a private appointment, visit the project website here. Compass is handling marketing and sales.
