A preliminary application has been filed seeking the approval of a mixed-use project proposed at 6341 Shattuck Avenue in Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of a three-story mixed-use apartment building. Plans call for the demolition of an existing one-story commercial building on the site.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 6,825 square feet. The site currently houses a fast food restaurant, Subway. The project will bring a three-story mixed-use building offering residential units, retail space, and onsite parking. The building will feature 14 residential units and 966 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Parking for six vehicles will be provided on the site.
The project site is a corner lot between Alcatraz Avenue and Shattuck Avenue. No renderings have been released yet.
