A preliminary application has been filed seeking the approval of a residential project at 2587 Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley. The project proposal includes the construction of an eight-story apartment complex. Gilbane Development is the project applicant. Telegraph Blake LLC is the property owner.
The preliminary application has been submitted for SB 330 for a residential project that will bring an eight-story building featuring residential apartments over ground-floor live/work units.

SB 330 prohibits local jurisdictions from enacting new laws that would have the effect of reducing the legal limit on new housing within their borders, or delay new housing via administrative or other regulatory barriers.
The project application is under review and the estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
