A new residential project has been proposed for 701 Dos Rios Street in River District, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a new townhome community offering hundreds of townhomes. The project site was previously occupied by the remains of a burnt-out industrial building.
The project is appealed by a new property owner, Peter Saetes, who is a housing developer. City records state that Saetes bought the property for $3.7 million, operating as Dos Rios Vine LLC. Saete. The developer is working with a partner in Beverly Hills for this project. The Legacy Riverviews LLC is listed as the previous property owner.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of four acres. The project calls for the construction of new 180 rental townhomes. Each townhome will be three stories and span a built-up measuring between 600 square feet to 1,000 square feet. Each townhome will feature a garage, and the project site will have a community area. The residential complex will showcase some similarities to another project the developer has proposed near Broadway in Sacramento. However, a key difference is that one project offers residences for rent and the other for sale.
A project application has been submitted, requesting a review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
