A new residential project has been proposed for development at 6959 Balsam Way in Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of a new single-family residence with an attached garage on a vacant upslope parcel.
Gehl Design Build Inc. is the project applicant. Valley Reo Property Management LLC is the property owner.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 13,525 square feet. The project will bring a new multi-story single-family dwelling spanning an area of 3,520 square feet. The residence will also be developed with an attached three-car garage. The building height will rise to 25 feet. Landscaped open area spanning 500 square feet will also be developed on the site. The project construction cost is estimated at $1,440,384.
A project application has been submitted, pending review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet. The project site is located close to another residential project proposed for development at 6933 Balsam Way in Oakland.
