Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project proposal for development at 1715 Foothill Boulevard in San Antonio, Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of a new residential building offering spaces for apartment units and Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs).
Chris Heller of Domastro LLC is the project applicant.
The scope of work includes the construction of a new multi-family apartment building on vacant lot. The project site is a large parcel spanning an area of 10,500 square fee. The new apartment building will comprise of twelve residential units units, including four bonus units and 1 attached ADU. Additional project details are yet to be released.
A project application has been submitted, and the project will be processed under SB-330. An SB330 application has been submitted, which prohibits a local agency from disapproving, or conditioning approval in a manner that renders infeasible, a housing development project for very low, low-, or moderate-income households or an emergency shelter unless the local agency makes specified written findings based on a preponderance of the evidence in the record.
The project site is located opposite San Antonio Park Field. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
