A new hospital project has been proposed for development at 105 Bercut Drive in Southern Pacific/Richards, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a new eight-story hospital and a five-story support building along with onsite parking.

The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 18 acres. The scope of work includes the construction of an eight-story hospital and a five-story hospital support building. The hospital building will yield a built-up area of 662,000 square feet and the hospital support building will yield a built-up area of 175,000 square feet. A central utility plant is also proposed; the building will be a two-story type IIB construction spanning an area of 32,000 square feet. A parking garage rising seven stories high and spanning an area of 488,819 square feet will also be developed as a part of the project.

The cost of construction is estimated at $1,480,000,000. An application has been submitted, the project is in its initial stages. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.   3. It’s supposedly a new Kaiser Hospital.

  4. Was hoping it was at least 14 floors. When it was first announced that Kaiser was planning a new hospital in the rail yards (Morse Location did not meet new CA earthquake standards)
