A new multifamily residential project celebrated its grand opening of the Winchester Apartments at 585 South Winchester Boulevard in San Jose. The development is part of a larger master plan from Pulte Group. The project replaces the former Winchester Ranch Mobile Home Park across from the Winchester Mystery House and Santana Row.
The Hanover Company purchased the apartment project from the Pulte Group last year. KTGY is responsible for the design.
The Winchester Apartments is a seven-story apartment complex offering 366 units. The project site that houses the master plan is a massive site spanning an area of 15.7 acres. The master plan proposes to bring 688 units and a public park spanning over three acres. In total, residential plan will include 90 four-story row homes, 158 units of four-story condominiums, 72 units of four-story flats, and 368 units in the apartment building.
In conversation with KTGY, the project is described to offer a balanced lifestyle with a healthy mix of private and interactive spaces for the diverse group of people that call the building home.
The vibrant, mixed-use and pedestrian-oriented development is now open. The project also features landscaped areas and a full complement of retreat-style amenities. The project sits on the site of a former mobile home park in a borough of San Jose.

Nice! So, could the former Winchester Ranch Mobile Home retirees be moving into the new apartment?
