Permits have been submitted seeking the approval of a residential project at 1725 G Street in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a new housing project offering multi-unit dwellings.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 1.174 acres. The scope of work includes the construction of a housing complex offering 66 multi-unit dwellings.
An SB330 preliminary application is under review. Senate Bill 330, or SB 330, has been an important law to make it more difficult for city and town governments to stonewall the construction of new housing if it meets a certain level of affordable housing. As written in the law, SB 330, “prohibits a local agency from disapproving, or conditioning approval in a manner that renders infeasible, a housing development project for very low, low-, or moderate-income households or an emergency shelter unless the local agency makes specified written findings based on a preponderance of the evidence in the record.”
The project application and documents are under review. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet. More details on the project design and teams are yet to be revealed. Stay tuned to SFYIMBY.com for updates.
