A new affordable housing project has been proposed for development at 2610 International Boulevard in Fruitvale, Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of a five-story building offering affordable housing, onsite amenities, and parking.
315 WAYNE LLC is listed as the owner. CRC Development is the project developer. David Baker Architects is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the development of a 100% affordable housing community. The project will bring 104 affordable rental units, designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom floor plans. 29% of the units will be three-bedroom units and an additional 27% percent will be two-bedroom units. Common open space will be provided as an at-grade courtyard, a level 2 courtyard, and a roof deck. An exterior space will be reserved for childcare. Parking will be provided on the ground floor for 37 vehicles.
Additionally, the building will feature a ground-floor lobby, common amenity spaces, and bike storage.
A project application has been submitted, pending review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet. The project site is located on International Boulevard, bound by single-family housing to the west.

Great addition to the many other projects planned for Fruitvale.
I’d like to apply for housing.
