Development permits have beed filed seeking the approval of a new residential project proposed at 6388 Longcroft Drive, Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of a new five-story single-family hillside residence.
Alan Hui is listed as the project applicant.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area 7,500 square feet. The scope of work includes the construction of a new single-family residence rising five stories high and spanning a total built-up area of 3,094 square feet. The project site is a hillside upslope lot. Six parking spaces will also be designed.
Additionally, separate permits have been submitted to allow for one tree removal and one tree protection. A project application has been submitted, seeking review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.

Totally! I feel like if we know we have an insurability issue the first thing we should do is stop building in disaster prone areas. Of course I don’t know how this is supposed to work for the people who already own the land.
