Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new project proposed for development at 4100 3rd Street in Bayview, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of abandoned housing units, to make space for social service offices to serve the community.
Badiner Urban Planning Inc is listed as the project applicant. Multistudio is responsible for the designs.
The project site spans an area of 8,129 square feet. The scope of work includes the conversion of an existing two-story, mixed-use building with group housing at the second floor into a social service facility use. Named Friends of the Children- SF Bay Area, the proposed social service facility will be approximately 6,123 square feet in size and include an outdoor activity area.
Minor interior and exterior alterations are proposed.
