A new residential project has been proposed for development at 646-648 Madrid Street in Excelsior, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a new residential building offering four units, an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), and onsite garage parking.
SJA Development LLC is responsible for the application.
The project site spans an area of 2,500 square feet. The scope of work includes the demolition of an existing two-unit structure, and construction of a new four-unit building. The new residential building will also offer a two-car garage and feature an ADU spanning 688 square feet.
Open landscaped space spanning 1,122 square feet has also been proposed. As previously covered, renderings reveal an exterior designed with stucco and hard board cement sidings, metal railings for decks, and vinyl frame windows.
A project application has been submitted, seeking the approval of the new residential project. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.

Copy+Paste for every run down lot in neighborhoods with exceptional transit.
Ridiculous design. Hope this instant favela never gets built.
Four units plus an ADU…isn’t that the same as five units? When is a unit not a unit? At least, the project sensibly provides parking.
