The project application requests for the approval of a tentative parcel map that outlines the planned subdivision of the property, complying with Oakland Zoning and Land Use Regulations. The existing single-family residence slated for demolition spans an areas of 2,186 square feet.
For the project to actualize, it will require the demolition of a collapsed single-family residence under separate permits. A project application has been submitted, pending review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.

10 units is way too much for a sfr lot in that neighborhood. Two or three units would make a lot more sense. Everyone living there is going to have two or three cars per household.
Surrounded by a grid of bus lines, <10 min bike ride to three different BART stations. Might want to rethink those car predictions.
I live in the area. Frisky is not entirely right, but usually one car per bedroom in this area, maybe a bit more. I would love for it to change, but a lot of people work irregular hours and the bus isn’t as reliable as anyone likes. I say this as someone who commutes by bike and bus every day. It can be incredibly difficult to get things done by bus alone.
