An addendum to the Final EIR has been published for the redevelopment of 550 East Brokaw Road in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The latest documents confirm that the site, once poised to become a dense urban campus designed by Gensler, will be a warehouse and manufacturing center. Super Micro Computer, which purchased the property in 2024 for $80 million, is responsible for the application.

The amended master plan for 550 East Brokawy Road looks to convert the existing building and the Mayan-themed facade into a 209,620-square-foot warehouse. Construction will add a three-story structure to serve as a warehouse and manufacturing facility. The 104-foot-tall addition will contain around 333,360 square feet, covering 5.27 acres of the 19.7-acre property.

Full build-out will add 542,980 square feet of office building, a significant reduction from the 1.9 million square feet initially expected from Bay West Development. Parking will be included for 180 cars. The property is located along East Brokaw Road and Junction Avenue, on a site bound by the I-880 Freeway.

ARC TEC is responsible for the design. The postmodern design has remained consistent since the late-2024 plans.

Construction is expected to last around 18 months from groundbreaking to completion.
