The Agrihood project located at 82 North Winchester Boulevard in Santa Clara has revised its original proposal for the community. The project is an extension of a project completed on the adjacent site in 2023, with plans to bring further housing to the community. The new proposal pivots from more apartment-style units to a townhome-focused design. These future homes will border the Agrihood open farm area and be integrated into the larger community.
The proposal includes plans for 44 new residential units organized into one twelve-unit building and four eight-unit buildings. The buildings’ position is strategically located with existing townhome buildings to the west, Worthington Circle to the north, and a senior living residence to the south, bringing the buildings together into a combined agricultural community.

Agrihood’s concept is about a sustainable living model that allows its residents to participate in the open farm portion of the site, while living within a highly accessible urban area. The property is located just a short walk from Westfield Mall and Santana Row shops and restaurants, but it still provides the space and community aspects of a more agrarian lifestyle.
The Core Companies is responsible for the development of the whole site, seeing the project through each of its milestones, starting in 2015 to the present day. Pending approvals from the City of Santa Clara, the developer’s project construction on this final phase is expected to begin in late 2025 or early 2026.
