The public review period has started for an industrial redevelopment at 2334 Lundy Place in North San Jose, Santa Clara County. The development is looking to replace a two-story office complex with a similarly-sized industrial building. Overton Moore Properties is the project applicant.
The 41-foot-tall structure will yield around 132,420 square feet, slightly larger than the vacant 130,750 square-foot office and research building. The complex will include 122,420 square feet of industrial space and roughly 10,000 square feet of ancillary office space. The complex will include 16 truck loading docks.

HPA Architecture is responsible for the associated surface parking designed by Green Design Landscape Architects. The complex will remove 152 trees while planting 218 new trees. Illustrations depict a warehouse-style exterior with some facade articulation, attempting to visually break up the overall massing.
NTT America Inc. is listed as the property owner. Construction is expected to last around 13 months from groundbreaking to completion.

The initial environmental review determines that the project “would not have a significant effect on the environment if certain mitigation measures are incorporated into the project…” The city will be accepting public comment to inform the final environmental review process from now until October 1st.
