The 43-foot tall project will yield 15,745 square feet with 12,160 square feet for housing, 1,300 square feet for retail, and 2,285 square feet for parking. The twelve apartments will each offer two bedrooms with an average floor area of 1,010 square feet.

The facade will include a mix of vertical board panels, floor-to-ceiling glass, and perforated metal walls protecting open-air stairwells. Renderings show the building’s base connecting to the sidewalk with cast-in-place concrete.

Ashley & Vance is assisting with structural engineering, and Moran is assisting with civil engineering. Oakland-based individual Mark Almeida is listed as the property owner.

The project architect has not yet replied to a request for comment.
