A new housing project has been approved for development at 788 San Antonio Road in Palo Alto. The project proposal includes the development of a four-story residential building offering 102 residential units and retail space.
788 SAPA Land LLC is the project developer. Studio S Squared Architecture is responsible for the designs.
Plans call for the construction of 102 residential units, offered as a mix of 32 studios, 66 one-bedroom units, and four two-bedroom units into a four-story building. The building will also offer retail space spanning an area of 1,800 square feet. Sixteen units would be restricted to below-market-rate households. While the developer plans to offer these units as apartments, the city’s approval allows for them to be converted to condominiums at a later time.
Palo Alto City Council approved the project in 2020. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
