A preliminary project application has been submitted for a residential project proposed for development at 14465 Monterey Road in Morgan Hill. The project proposal includes the construction of 200+ residences in the form of single-family residences and duplexes, along with onsite amenities and parking.

The proposed project is a part of a larger master plan in Morgan Hill that aims to bring a total of 899 residential units. The proposed residential units will be spread within four projects in Morgan Hill. These projects are also awaiting county review and approval.

As previously reported, one of the four projects proposed is a 320-unit project proposed for development on a 57.6-acre site at 1515 Half Road.

The following residential projects have been submitted in and around Morgan Hill under the state’s “builder’s remedy” law: 

  • 323 units at Monterey Road and Butterfield Boulevard
  • 265 units at the southeast corner of Tennant Avenue and Butterfield Boulevard
  • 263 homes at 14900 Monterey Road
  • 151 units at Cochrane Road and DePaul Drive

Unincorporated Morgan Hill:

  • 271-home subdivision at 1125 East Main Avenue (two applications for one property)
  • 219-home subdivision at 14465 Monterey Road
  • 320-unit subdivision at 1515 Half Road
  • 89-unit subdivision on four parcels on the 1200 and 1300 block of Diana Avenue, and the 1200 block of Condit Road

An SB330 application has been submitted, awaiting review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
