Updated permits have been filed for housing at 3935 Franklin Boulevard in North City Farms, Sacramento. The original permits were approved in 2019, but construction has yet to start. Two Sacramento-based individuals are listed as the property owner.

The development proposed to create 14 apartments above roughly 4,800 square feet of commercial space. Surface parking is included for roughly two dozen cars. Previous plans were drafted with California Design Group as the project architect. Illustrations show the architectural style will feature Spanish Revival features along the parapet and window frames. It is unclear if the design scheme will change.
TQ Constructions Services is listed as the general contractor. The estimated cost and timeline for construction have yet to be established.

The vacant property is between 15th and 16th Avenue, next to Highway 99. Residents will be close to a few bus stops and a 15-minute walk from a grocery store.
