Development permits have been submitted seeking the approval of a new residential project proposed for development at 1234 Palou Avenue in Bayview, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the renovation of the existing single-family residence on the site.
Vicinity Architects is responsible for the designs.

The project site spans an area of 2,500 square feet. The scope of work includes the vertical addition and a horizontal expansion of the existing single-family residence. The project will result in a two-story rear addition with a new ground floor Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) to the building. The renovated residence will rise to a height of 22 feet.

The new residence will yield a total built-up area spanning 2,294 square feet. Additionally, a main level bedroom and bathroom will also be added. A reconfigured front entry and stair will support a new upper balcony with ADU street front access below.
The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
