New plans have been shared ahead of a planning commission meeting for a small townhouse infill project at 15 Holcomb Court in Walnut Creek, Contra Costa County. The project will bring five units to a vacant lot close to the suburban city’s commercial core. Morgan Hill-based Rocke and Glenda Garcia of Glenrock Development are listed as the property owners.

The 23-foot-tall structure will yield around 11,560 square feet. Each of the five dwellings will feature between three and four bedrooms, as well as a private two-car garage. Mark Gross & Associates is responsible for the design. Illustrations show the structure will be decorated with a mix of facade articulation and paint colors to visually distinguish the dwellings.
Weiland Design Group is responsible for the landscape plan. The team’s plant list features a mix of trees and shrubs designed to provide privacy along the lot’s western edge overlooking the popular Iron Horse Trail.
The half-acre property is located on a hillside overlooking Iron Horse Regional Trail and the Broadway Plaza parking garage. The application mirrors a 2010-filed application for five units on the still-vacant parcel.

The project will be reviewed by the city’s Planning Commission this coming Thursday, June 26th, starting at 6 PM. The event will be livestreamed for viewers online, with participation available to in-person attendees. For more information, visit the meeting agenda here.
