New renderings have been published for the small residential infill at 942 Pine Street in West Oakland, Alameda County. Illustrations show an updated design for a similarly-sized development, adding four units to a currently vacant parcel. Duong Family Investments LLC is responsible for the project as the property owner.

Collaborative Design Studio is responsible for the design. The Dublin-based architecture firm describes the design as having “design elements of the local architectural style,” including the folded gable form and front porch. The exterior will be clad with stucco, wood-look panels, and fiber cement lap siding.
The three-story structure will feature four townhome-style units, each with three bedrooms, a second-floor balcony, a rooftop terrace, and a private garage facing 10th Street. The project will yield around 7,340 square feet, averaging around 1,835 square feet per unit.

The 0.1-acre property is located at the corner of Pine Street and 10th Street, close to the affordable housing joint venture named the Phoenix. The West Oakland BART Station is less than 15 minutes away on foot, or four minutes by bicycle. The estimated cost and timeline for construction have yet to be shared.
