Preliminary permits have been filed for housing at 3801 Airport Road in the Natomas Crossing neighborhood of Sacramento. The project will add 40 single-family homes across a narrow parcel, facing the recently opened Airfield Park. Avdis & Cucchi LLP is listed as the project applicant filed on behalf of the property owners, Next Generation Capital.

Construction plans call for 40 single-family houses, ranging in size from 1,470 to 1,850 square feet each. Parking will be included for 84 cars. Farrell-Faber & Associates is responsible for the design. Illustrations show a familiar wood-frame house design with contemporary angled roofing and some exterior articulation.
The 2.26-acre project site is split into two vacant parcels, separated by Natomas Crossing Drive, located between Airport Road and Firestar Way. The 40 homes will all be clustered in groups of three or four buildings around a shared driveway with access to Firestar Way.

The application invokes Senate Bill 330 to streamline the approval process. The approval timeline has not yet been shared.
