Preliminary permits have been filed for a small residential infill at 1539 Oakdale Avenue in Bayview, San Francisco. The project aims to construct a single-family home on a vacant lot near the SF Muni light rail station along 3rd Street. Concord-based modular homes developer, Roof & Realm, is listed as the property owner and architect.

The single-family house will include three bedrooms and a ground-floor parking garage. Plans show that the specific facade materials have not yet been decided, with plans suggesting that either metal cladding or smooth stucco siding could cover the facade. Illustrations show a minimalist black-and-white two-story structure with narrow rectangular windows over the dark garage door and inset entry door.

The narrow 0.06-acre parcel is located on a block bound by Oakdale Avenue, Lane Street, Palou Avenue, and 3rd Street. Future residents would be a half block from the Oakdale light rail station and the Bayview Opera House performing arts theater.

Concord-based Roof & Realm is filing through Fusion Investment and Innovation LLC. The estimated cost and timeline for construction have not yet been shared.
