Permits have been filed for a three-story apartment development at 4421 4th Avenue in Oak Park, Sacramento. The proposal would replace a two-story residential structure unit with 7 new apartment units. Elk Grove-based Infinity Designs is managing the development and architecture.
The 36-foot tall development will be divided between two structures with a combined built area of 4,985 square feet. The first building will span 1,660 square feet, the other 3,325 square feet. The exterior will rise from a three-foot stone veneer pedestal. Most of the facade will be wrapped with painted wood siding. Private terraces will include decorative wrought iron balustrades. The rooftop will be covered with asphalt-gray shingles.
The development will retain the existing single-story commercial structure occupied by a tire and auto repair shop. Planning applications estimated the cost of labor and materials for construction will reach $760,000.
Sydney Brown & Kate Rolen is the property owner. 4421 4th Avenue will be built across from the UC Davis campus in Sacramento along Stockton Boulevard. The thoroughfare is serviced by three separate Sacramento Regional Transit bus lines.
