Demolition and new building permits have been requested for the 11-story apartment proposal at 1500 15th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The filing is a significant step and one of the last remaining ministerial hurdles for the first of two towers by the same developer overlooking the same intersection, one block from BART. Updated Plans for Two Elsey Partners Projects in the Mission District, San Francisco

New plans have been revealed, showing similar shifts in programming and design for 1500 15th Street and 401 South Van Ness Avenue, both overlooking the same intersection in San Francisco’s Mission District. Initial plans for basement apartments have been removed, and now both projects will rise to be 11 stories tall. Elsey Partners is responsible for both applications.

City Planning Commission is reviewing submitted plans for a new eight-story construction at 1500 15th Street in the Mission District, San Francisco. The proposal includes the construction of a new group housing project consisting of an eighty-five-foot high structure with residential and commercial space on the first floor. The project also proposes the demolition of a single-story auto body workshop and a parking lot.
