Meeting Scheduled for New Apartments at 2051 Market Street in San Francisco

San Francisco’s Planning Commission will meet tomorrow and discuss proposed plans for a new 7-story apartment building located at 2051 Market Street. The project is a re-submission by Sak Design & Build, who were previously approved for a different project on the same site. The only significant changes to the project will be it’s re-entitlement under the Housing Choice San Francisco program. However, the planning commission will still review the project and hear public comment before allowing it to proceed.

A new mixed-use project has been proposed for development at 2051 Market Street in The Castro, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a new seven-story building offering retail and residential spaces along with onsite bike parking. Plans call for the demolition of a vacant two-story commercial building on the site. Sak Design Build is the property owner. Winder Gibson Architects is responsible for the design.

Renderings Revealed for 2051 Market Street, Mission District, San Francisco

New renderings and a preliminary project assessment for 2051 Market Street have been revealed, located on the northern edge of the Mission District in San Francisco. The seven-story residential infill will replace a two-story commercial building with commercial retail and 29 new apartments to be sold for ownership. The project will also apply for protection from Senate Bill 330.
