Permits have been filed seeking the approval of new apartments at 1901 8th Street in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of residences above Insight Coffee Roasters near downtown Sacramento. Williams & Paddon Architects and Planners is managing the design concepts and the construction. Urban Elements LLC is the developer. Fulcrum Redding LLC is the property owner that purchased the property in 2015 for $3.4 million.

Permits Filed for 1600 Broadway, Land Park, Sacramento

New building permits have been filed for the mixed-use proposal at 1600 Broadway in Land Park, Sacramento. The five-story construction, formerly addressed as 2500 16th Street, will create 51 new apartments to the retail-rich thoroughfare, along with a full ground level of retail. This application shows two fewer units than when development permits were filed in December last year. Williams + Paddon will be responsible for the architecture.

The project proposal consists of a five-story building with fifty-eight studio units and a 1,300 square feet cold-shell retail space. Williams + Paddon Architects manages the design concepts, and construction and Tricorp Construction is the contractor for the project.
