Pre-application permits have been for an eight-story residential building at 200 Victory Court, Jack London Square, Oakland. The site sits off of Fallon street and is bordered by train tracks on one side. It is within easy walking distance of Downtown Oakland. Therefore, connections to ferries, BART, and Amtrack can be easily made from the site.
The permits call for the construction of a 276-unit residential building. The structure will stand eight floors tall, a common height for the growing neighborhood. San Diego-based FRH Realty LLC is the developer of the project. The project a one-floor industrial structure that features a bland façade.
The neighborhood was once home to many squat industrial structures, each with an unexciting exterior and bringing no life to the area outside of common business hours. However, in recent years, these structures have been demolished rapidly. The neighborhood gains many large mixed-use and multifamily structures that are turning the area into a vibrant and lively area of the city.
