New building permits have been filed for a 99-unit residential building at 4722 9th Avenue in the Tahoe Park neighborhood, Sacramento. The project will be going through the city’s ministerial approval of the infill housing process, designed to streamline approval for needed new housing. Public documents do not disclose the project developer.

The recent filing is a moderate increase in size compared to permits filed in mid-2019. These previous plans would make 81 units, of which 66 would be below 700 square feet, while the remaining 15 would range from 700 to 2,000 square feet.

Beyond 3,300 square feet of ground-floor retail, further details about the proposal are not published. The building will sit on a 26,440 square foot lot. It is near UC Davis and Shriners Hospital for Children. Downtown Sacramento is thirty minutes away along the 51 bus.

Turton Commercial Real Estate was last responsible for the sale of the property.
