SFYIMBY can reveal renderings for the proposed residential development at 11880 Skyline Boulevard in Crestmont, Oakland. The project will bring twenty apartments to a high-traffic amenity-rich area of the city, including a school, park, and several sports clubs within a block of the address. Maracor Development is responsible for the project.
SDG Architects is responsible for the proposed design. In its conceptual phase, the rendering shows a contemporary design rising three floors above the street. The 3,000 square foot retail space at ground-level will look out to the boulevard across a small landscaping feature through floor-to-ceil curtain wall glass. Some residential units will even have access to private balconies and what appears to be a common area directly above retail with a panoramic view of Oakland and San Francisco.
When reached for comment, Brad Dickason, the Principal of Maracor Development, told SFYIMBY, “we look forward to hopefully getting under construction this spring. When completed, the project will include 20 – two and three-bedroom family units, 38 parking spaces, and ground floor space for neighborhood-serving retail.”
Maracor has been responsible for large projects across the Bay Area, including a 95-unit luxury condominium project at 950 Gough, in San Francisco and the 133-unit suburban development at Point Martin, Daly City.
