Roseville Planning Commission has approved a new housing project with 98 residential units that will be developed at 1721 Pleasant Grove Boulevard in Roseville. The project proposes both affordable housing and senior housing. Mercy Housing is the project developer and Eskaton is the property owner. The companies have come together to work on the project to offer affordable housing to Roseville residents.
LPAS Architecture + Design is managing the design and construction.
The project site is being developed and spans across an area of 4.9 acres. The developers aim to cater to a multi-generational population; offering residential options at affordable prices and housing for seniors. Named Pleasant Grove Apartments, the complex will have two three-story apartment buildings and a single-story clubhouse. The residential units are offered as a mix of 30 one-bedroom units, 34 two-bedroom units, and 34 three-bedroom units.
On-site amenities like a playground, a community garden, and lawn areas with outdoor seating are proposed. 191 parking spaces are also included.
The estimated date of construction initiation is December 2022.
The project site is located near the corner of Pleasant Grove Boulevard and Sun City Boulevard. The location is surrounded by single-family homes and other senior housing complexes.
