A new residential project has been proposed at 165 Jefferson Drive in Menlo Park. The project proposal includes the development of an eight-story multi-family apartment building featuring commercial and office spaces. Plans call for the demolition of existing office and industrial buildings on the site.
Greystar is the project developer. Menlo Park Flats Venture, LLC is the project applicant. Heller Manus Architects is responsible for the design concepts.

The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 1.38 acres. Named Menlo Flats, the project will redevelop the existing site with an eight-story multi-family apartment building spanning an area of 248,995 square feet. The apartment building will offer 158 dwelling units with a minimum 15 percent of the units being offered as affordable housing. Commercial and office space measuring an area of 15,000 square feet will be designed on the site. An at-grade three-level parking garage spanning an area of 81,900 square feet with a capacity of 176 vehicles will be developed on the site.

A total of 20,930 square feet of open space will be provided across the entire site, including private residential open space, common open space, and publicly-accessible open space. Approximately 1,600 square feet of community amenities space will be developed. The project also proposes circulation and infrastructure improvements.
