A new commercial project has been proposed for development at 3308 3rd Avenue in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the conversion of two two-story buildings into buildings set for commercial uses.
Earlier this year, University of the Pacific purchased three Oak Park properties from Sacramento Food Bank for $12.9 million.
The three purchased property lots occupy about three-fourths of a city block. The three existing buildings, used for both office and warehousing uses, are 30,000, 27,000 and 1,700 square feet.
Named University of the Pacific (UOP) Health Care Collaborative Office, the project proposes to convert two commercial buildings–spanning an area of 22,500 square feet and 30,000 square feet, respectively–built on two parcels. The two parcels span 0.96 acres and 1.1 acres each. The new project will offer 21,903 square feet of commercial space and 505 square feet addition to enclose the existing covered patio.
Project application has been submitted seeking Site Plan and Design Review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
