A new residential project has been proposed for development at 18895 Bollinger Canyon Road in San Ramon. The project proposal includes the construction of a residential project offering single-family dwelling units, multi-family dwelling units, Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), and a public park.
(CD/A) is responsible for the designs.
The project site occupies a total of approximately 195 acres of land located at the northwest corner of the Bollinger Canyon Road and Crow Canyon Road intersection. The 16-acre residential development area and the 2-acre neighborhood park are located within the City’s Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) and within the NWSP area.
In 2017, the Planning Commission approved the Chang Property Residential Development Plan and Vesting Tentative Map that includes a two-acre public park and 43 single-family dwelling units with 18 accessory dwelling units on 16 acres of the total project area.
Named Chang Residential, the original project remains approved, but unbuilt. At this time, the applicant is exploring two potential alternatives to the approved project. The first conceptual project option would consist of the existing 43 single-family dwelling units and 18 secondary dwelling units, plus the addition of a 70-unit three-story multi-family residential development. The second conceptual project option would consist of 102 single-family dwelling units and a 70-unit three-story multi-family residential development.
A project and design review meeting has been scheduled for today December 5, 2023, at 6 PM, details of joining can be found here. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
