Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project proposed for development at 20840 Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino. The project proposal includes the construction of 58 townhome units. The project site presently houses a shuttered Italian restaurant slated for demolition.
The scope of work includes the construction of 58 townhome units, designed as 46 market-rate units and 12 units for moderate-income households.
An SB330 application has been submitted, which prohibits a local agency from disapproving, or conditioning approval in a manner that renders infeasible, a housing development project for very low, low-, or moderate-income households or an emergency shelter unless the local agency makes specified written findings based on a preponderance of the evidence in the record.
The project application has been submitted, and is under review. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet. Information on project design team is yet to be revealed. Stay tuned to SFYIMBY.com for more such updates.
