Building permits have been issued for a townhome infill at 4035 Park Boulevard in Trestle Glen, Oakland. The project will bring eight three-story buildings at the corner of Park and Hampel Street. Oakland-based Workshop1 is the developer and project architect.

The complex will yield around 11,240 square feet across eight buildings, with the typical structure averaging 1,400 square feet each. Each home will offer around 100 square feet of private open space and 680 square feet of shared open space. Parking will be included for eight cars in the interior surface lot.
Seven units will offer three bedrooms and two bathrooms, save for the corner unit. Unit #5 will be the largest townhome, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it will be designated as below-market-rate housing.

Workshop1 is the project’s landscape architect. The modern design shows a refined residential style, with flat white exterior walls, a gable roof, and a shed-style dormer. The facade will be clad with smooth plaster cement, cedar panels, and redwood fencing.

The site is under twenty minutes from the relatively dense retail area in Dimond District. Downtown Oakland is twenty minutes away via bus. Downtown Oakland is just 15 minutes away via AC Transit.

This site is in the Glenview neighborhood, not Trestle Glen. The units will have lovely neighborhood views as well as views of both Downtown Oakland and SF in the distance.
