A new residential project has been proposed for development at 9632 MacArthur Boulevard in Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of a new duplex residence.
IKA Living Trust is listed as the project developer. Cal Design Studio is responsible for the designs.
The project site is a vacant lot spanning an area of 3,125 square feet. The scope of work includes the construction of a new duplex residence yielding a total built-up area spanning 3,776 square feet. The duplex residence will offer two units. The front building will have a two-car garage and one unit above ground level; and rear detached building located more than 30 feet from the street line will have another unit.
The building will rise to a height of 31 feet. The proposal includes decks in between the buildings and on the rear of lot. The garage will span an area of 280 square feet
Development permits have been submitted, pending review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
