A new residential project has been proposed for development at 888 Union Street in Russian Hill, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a new three-story-over-basement structure consisting of two dwelling units.
Gentle Sky LLC is the project sponsor. Architect Robert Gilson is responsible for the designs.
The project site spans an area of 5,326 square feet and currently houses a three-story-over-basement structure with seven residential dwelling units and a separate single-story parking garage located in the rear yard. The scope of work includes the demolition of the parking garage and the construction of a new three-story-over-basement structure consisting of two dwelling units. One of the two proposed dwelling units will be partially located within the required rear yard.
Usable open space spanning 1,400 square feet will also be designed on the site.
A project application has been submitted, pending review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
