Preliminary permits have been filed to develop a residential apartment complex at 930 Blaine Avenue in Robla, North Sacramento. Initial details describe nine units to be priced as affordable “Missing Middle Housing” dwellings. The project applicant is not listed.

Further information about the project has yet to come up. The pre-application was submitted earlier this week, with the city staff listing the application as incomplete. It is unclear if the plans will retain the existing 1946-built single-family home.

The project is in the heart of a sprawling suburban neighborhood, with the nearest public park 15 minutes away on foot and the nearest grocery store twenty minutes away on foot. The site is close to the now-open Archer Estates subdivision, developed by KB Homes.

City records show the property was last sold by the previous occupants in July 2024 for $220,000.
