Plans have been filed for a four-story residential complex at 11880 Skyline Boulevard up in the Oakland Hills. The updated proposal for the site looks to bring 31 units of affordable housing, a sizable increase in residential capacity compared with the previous iteration filed by the same developer. San Francisco-based Maracor Development is responsible for the application filing through Skyline Redwood LLC.
Further information about the proposed development has yet to be published. SDG Architects was responsible for drafting the previous design. Filed in early 2021, the application was for 20 two and three-bedroom apartments above 3,000 square feet of retail. By 2023, the half-acre property was listed for sale as a fully entitled development opportunity.

The still-vacant lot is located at the corner of Skyline Boulevard and Redwood Road. Future residents would be close to the Skyline High School Campus, the Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park, and directly across from the Skyline Community Market grocery store.
The estimated cost and timeline for construction have not yet been shared.

nice looking design
Stupid. There’s nothing there. If you don’t have a car good luck trying to walk a mile uphill to a grocery store. You might think people who need help with housing might want to be closer to public transportation and convenient shopping.
There is literally a grocery across the street from this location.
Affordable housing for who how much will this be. A. Lot of people say affordable housing but for what range of people
Grocery across the street
