New documents have been filed detailing plans for a major demolition and reconstruction of a site at 1500 E Hamilton Avenue in Campbell. The project is being brought by Sullivan Land Development, as part of an ongoing shift in Bay Area development to remove older and vacant office space and replace it with new housing options.

This particular proposal would fully remove the existing two-story office building and its surface parking lot, with plans to replace them with 74 townhome-style condominiums. Part of the submitted documentation details specifics on a vesting map that would separate the site into 13 parcels, each with a constructed group of townhomes.
Further details on any plans or designs for the site were not included in the public documentation submitted. However, it can be assumed that the developers will follow a traditional two-to four-story design for the project, with the likelihood of including on-site parking for future tenants’ use.
The site is located in a highly central area for the South Bay region, with easy access to downtown San Jose and close to freeways that give commuting options for further destinations. Residents will also benefit from several nearby grocery stores and shopping areas.
