New development permits have been filed for multi-family housing at 980-984 Stanford Avenue, in Paradise Park, Oakland. The project’s scope includes the construction of one duplex condominium as a part of a four-unit development that consists of the adjacent lot. Gunkel Architecture is managing the project.
The proposal includes the construction of a three-story duplex with an attached two-car garage. The new development will be shared with an existing driveway easement of 984 Stanford Avenue, the adjacent vacant lot. Private open space will be provided on the second-floor balcony of each unit.
The area is walkable and is considered a biker’s paradise. Transit options are also good with many nearby public transportation options like Muni 38, 14, and BART.
The Nevada-based Incline Village Company are responsible for the development as owners of the property. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
